Speaker # 1   Manual Estrada-Nora Rodriguez, Mercasa, Spain
 
Since 1995 when Manuel Estrada-Nora joined MERCASA, he has been engaged in the International area, Wholesale Market Management area and Legal Department. He has participated in the development of technical assistance projects, for both retail and wholesale markets, and in different countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Angola, amongst others. His professional specialty focuses on legal, ruling and operational aspects of markets. Before joining MERCASA he worked in consulting companies in Spain and in other European countries. Currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish markets of Mercabarna, Mercagranada and Mercatenerife. Since 2007 he is a member of the WUWM Board of Directors and is its current Vice-Chairman.

Shamsher Singh Randhawa has been Managing Director of National Council of State Agricultural Marketing Boards (COSAMB), New Delhi, India since 2004, managing the affairs and activities of the council, which has all the State Agricultural Marketing Boards/ Departments of Agricultural Marketing of various States its members. He holds Master degree in Agricultural Science with specialization in Agricultural Economics, also a Law graduate and Diploma in Cooperation. He is also holding the position as General Manager (Enforcement) with Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board, Punjab, India at Chandigarh having sufficient and practical work experience in modern agricultural marketing, alongwith research, consultancy, training and education since last 28 years. He has practical knowledge of production techniques alongwith marketing strategies always sharing expertise, conscious commoner and socio-technocrat engaged in transformation of primitive, traditional agricultural marketing systems into a modern, transparent and efficient platform for competitive marketing. He has area of specialization in regulation for marketing of agricultural produce as per laid Laws, besides it also being conceptualization of designing and planning of infrastructure required for the development of agricultural produce markets may be fruit and vegetable markets, preparation of State master plan for market development with modern infrastructure, post harvest management of horticultural commodities, research in agricultural marketing, competing in post-WTO period of liberalization, value addition by standardization, grading & packing, export potentials in international trade, rural development, etc.

Dr. J. S. Yadav, a Doctorate in Agricultural Economics currently leading a Agribusiness Corporate as Chief Operating Officer (Premium Farm Fresh Produce Ltd, New Delhi, India). Prior to this he served the office of National Institute of Agricultural Marketing, Jaipur, an apex institution under the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India for research, consultancy, training and education for 16 years as Founder Director. He has also worked as Director, Haryana Institute of Rural Development, Nilokheri, District Karnal (Haryana), India, on deputation. He has contributed immensely as an expert and advisor to various organizations and Government of India Committees in the field of Agricultural Marketing.
