(Amendment - 03)


1. (1) These rules may be called the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board (Class-III) Service(Second Amendment) Rules, 2011.
  (2) They Shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

18 Junior Engineer (Electrical)

(i) seventy-five per cent by direct appointment; and
(ii) twenty-five per cent by promotion

 

Should possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering of a recognized  institute. (a)  Two and a half percent from amongst the work Mistries who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of eight years and who have passed the National Certificate Course of Sectional Officers mechanical of a recognized Institute and
(b) Two and a half percent from amongst the work Mistries who have an experience of working for a minimum period of three years.
(c) Five percent from amongst the Draftsmen (Electrical) working in the Board who possess Diploma In Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute.
(d)Fifteen per cent from amongst the Sub-Station Attendants, who have experience of working as such for a minimum period of eight years:
     Provided that if no suitable Sub-Station Attendant is available then from amongst the Electricians, who have experience of working as such for a minimum period of ten years.

19 Junior Engineer (Mechanical) (i) seventy-five per cent by direct appointment; and
(ii) twenty-five per cent by promotion.
Should possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of a recognized  institute. (a)  Two and a half percent from amongst the work Mistries who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of eight years and who have passed the National Certificate Course of Sectional Officers mechanical of a recognized Institute and
(b) Two and a half percent from amongst the work Mistries who have an experience of working for a minimum period of three years.
(c) Five percent from amongst the Draftsmen or Tracers working  in the Board who possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute.
(d) Fifteen per cent from amongst the Project Section Officer, who have experience of working as such for a minimum period of eight years:
     Provided that if no suitable Project Section Officer is available then from amongst the Electricians, who have experience of working as such for a minimum period of ten years.
